Choose the Labyrinth

When I finish a book or a movie, I have no idea what to do with myself. I get emotionall involved in that book/movie then it just ends. I know it’s coming, but it gets me every time. Damnitt.

There comes a time in your life of books, movies, tv series and video games that you realize you are in love. The thing is; the movies, tv series and books are not ones like Twilight, The Last Song, The Notebook, A Walk to Remember, The Time Traveler’s Wife, The Vow, The Lucky One, Charlie St. Cloud and so forth. No, you’ve fallen in love with characters that are far from a typical love story.You fall in love with Evan Peters in American Horror Story who plays a supposedly serial killer. Max Thieriot from House at the End of the Street who plays some psychotic character, as well. You of course can’t help the feels you get for Neville in the last few Harry Potter movies who turns completely  bad ass. Even The Walking Dead and Doctor Who brings you feels. While reading The Perks of Being a Wallflower you can’t deny that you fell in love with Charlie with all the problems in his life. If you ever owned a PlayStation2 and did not play Kingdom Hearts, you’ll never understand how gorgeous Sora is. Then there’s the super heroes consisting of my favorites Spiderman and Batman, how you obviously wish you could be or at least have. 

When you’ve collected your thoughts, you realize your love is fictional. Not the typical “tell me you love me forever and think I’m beautiful”, but the awkward let’s just play video games and wear over sized sweat pants and share our nerd feels. You also want the guy to be your hero, but a hero like Mario, Link from Zelda, or Finn from Adventure Time. Not the “capture my heart hero” but the literal “I hope you’re ready to dodge turtle shells, not let me get captured by other creepy kings, and pull out a sword” kind of hero. 

After thinking all that through, you realize you’ll be forever alone with such standards. You may also come to the conclusion that some thing is just wrong with your life. So you result to continue loving your cat.
